OUR PHILOSOPHY

Local cooking that puts our producers first

Looking for a restaurant in Moissac with local cooking, growers you actually know, seasonal vegetables, and recipes that mean something? That’s exactly what you’ll find at Restaurant Chez Ma Poule. It opens its doors in September 2026, right in the heart of town.

Behind the kitchen is also a warm pilgrim guesthouse, designed to welcome passing travellers and pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago.

LOCAL PRODUCE & SHORT SUPPLY CHAINS

It all starts with seasonal produce, carefully sourced from growers in the Tarn-et-Garonne and the surrounding area. Market gardeners, farmers, winemakers: the menu follows what they have to offer, week by week. And as a nod to the family’s roots in northern France, a little touch of the North sometimes finds its way in to surprise your taste buds

A SHORT MENU, REFRESHED
EVERY SEASON

No endless list here: a handful of starters and mains, a small selection of carefully made desserts, and — above all — a dish of the day. Less, but better. Every main course is thoughtfully prepared for a meal that’s as satisfying as it is balanced.

AN ORIGINAL IDEA

Eat your fill: Vitality or Energy Boost

Because a marathon runner and someone with a desk job don’t have the same needs, every dish is available in two portion sizes — same dish, same quality.

Vitality

A meal designed for a quieter day

A smaller portion

Portions suited to everyday, less active lifestyles. The classic, balanced plate, for eating well without overdoing it. Ideal for a light lunch before heading back to work or back on the road.

Energy Boost

A meal designed for active guests

A heartier portion

Bigger portions for those on the move: sportspeople, walkers, cyclists on the canal path. Same dish, same quality — just more generous, to keep your energy levels up.
